Mymbá Street is not only a place to be seen. It has its own sound.

Created as a companion to the collection, this eight-track album moves through birdsong, folklore, red earth and the landscapes of Paraguay. Each piece opens another path into the world of Mymbá Street, giving sound to the creatures, places and stories that inspired it.

A soundtrack for the overlooked, the unseen and everything still living quietly around us.

They’re still here. We just stopped looking.

Every figure carries a small void where its eyes should be. Not empty just unseen, until now.

To be remembered is to be kept a little longer. Mymbá Street is one small way of looking back.

Mainu Yinoot is a Paraguayan-born visual artist and sculptor based in Helsinki. Her work is guided by a single idea: building a real, physical connection between people and the characters she creates, exploring the representation of living beings.

Each character blends the strange with the playful, inviting a sensory experience that goes beyond just looking. By playing with smooth, rough, and imperfect textures, the sculptures encourage a closer interaction between the public and the piece.

Mainu works across both digital and physical mediums to translate her ideas from 2D drawings into 3D forms. Her approach is based on five years of experience with paper clay and papier-mâché, exploring how an idea on paper becomes something tangible.

Through this hybrid approach, she transforms flat concepts into three-dimensional figures, aiming to bring people closer to the reality of endangered species and create a space for empathy, awareness, and reflection on what we often overlook.
