Miss Bliss X Yoshihito Suzuki
We first met Japanese artist Yoshihito Suzuki—known as Yoshi—who lives and works in Barcelona, during our Solo Gallery exhibition at SRA Gallery. What began as an inspiring exchange quickly grew into a creative friendship and led to our first-ever artist collaboration on Miss Bliss.
The Exploration of Void reflects on the inner emptiness we sometimes feel and how we seek meaning to keep moving through life’s mundane moments. Miss Bliss embodies this escape—a distraction that sweetens reality’s bitterness and acts as a portal to infinite, drifting worlds. Yet, the deeper we go, the stronger the pull of the void becomes.
This concept evolves into a collaborative piece with Yoshi, who visually interprets the void as a fragile space full of potential. His sculpture blends Asian and Greek ceramic traditions with kintsugi, symbolizing healing amid brokenness. A subtle emergency exit sign suggests a way through instability.
As Yoshi says, “Void is not an end, but a beginning—a rebirth from a small death.” The work features rich symbolism: snake scales, lotus flowers, phoenixes, and mythological figures of death and renewal.
At its core is the Copium Flower, an idol-like bloom with the face of an empty can, merging death and life, sufficiency and emptiness, and echoing the Greek primordial void, Chaos (Χάος). Painted in Greek colors, its petals reflect Buddhism’s five colors of harmony and awakening.
More than a collectible, this piece is a mythic hybrid—reflecting our world and hinting at what may bloom after emptiness.
