YOSHIHITO - MISS BLISS

The unstable and fragile situation of the exploration of void is represented by ceramic (Asian & Greek) and kintsugi effects. The possibility of finding a way out of this situation is represented by the emergency exit symbol.

Just as something is born from nothing, the artist believes that void is not an end, but a beginning. It is a rebirth from a small death. From this point of view, he decided to use ceramic patterns that represent rebirth. For example, snake scales(triangular patterns), phoenixes, lotuses, cloud and water patterns, Greek key, Persephone and Demeter.

The copium flower has the face of an empty can. The empty can represents emptiness and death. They combined with sufficiency and life so that this idol was created. It echoes the Greek mythological primordial god Chaos (XAOÇ), which means “empty space with a large mouth.” Planted in a pot of Greek colors, the flower represents the five colors of Buddhism.
