EXPLORATION OF VOID II
EXPLORATION OF VOID II — A SERIES BY NIGEL GOH
MISS BLISS, AN ART TOY AND PRINT SERIES
FILLING YOUR VOID WITH THE SMALL JOYS OF ESCAPISM
STEP AWAY
ESCAPE
RETURN
Miss Bliss represents the moment you step away from everything, even briefly, just to disconnect from the noise.
The joy inside her acts as a doorway. Calm radiates from the core, giving her the space to disappear from the noise, if only for a moment.
Eventually, she returns. The noise is still there, waiting but she carries a little of that escape back with her, until it's time to step away again.

MISS BLISS - YOSHIHITO
The unstable and fragile situation of the exploration of void is represented by ceramic — both Asian and Greek — and kintsugi effects. The possibility of finding a way out is represented by the emergency exit symbol.
Just as something is born from nothing, the artist believes void is not an end but a beginning — a rebirth from a small death. The ceramic patterns reflect this: snake scales, phoenixes, lotuses, cloud and water motifs, the Greek key, Persephone and Demeter.
The copium flower wears the face of an empty can — emptiness and death, combined with sufficiency and life, to create this idol. It echoes the Greek primordial god Chaos (XAOÇ), "empty space with a large mouth." Planted in a pot of Greek colors, the flower carries the five colors of Buddhism.

MISS BLISS - OG
A single flower, kept close, blooming quietly in the middle of her chest her escape into nature, small enough to carry. It was never meant to be permanent, just enough to hold onto until she needs somewhere else to go.

MISS BLISS - RETRO
A different world this time one she's already been to before. Not every escape needs to be somewhere new; some are about returning to a place that already feels safe, worn in, familiar. Retro isn't about moving forward. It's about going back, just for a while.

MISS BLISS - SMALL JOYS
The small joys are interchangeable elements created for Miss Bliss. Each one represents a different way of escaping from everyday life designed to sit inside the void she carries, making escapism visible and personal.
Held in place with magnets, the small joys can be swapped depending on the kind of escape you need in that moment. They don't remove the void, but offer brief ways to step away from it.
Each small joy reflects a simple form of escapism, from nature and music to games, stories, and art. Together, they form the core idea behind Miss Bliss and Exploration of Void.

STANDALONE PRINTS FROM THE SAME WORLD
Not every escape needed a figure to hold it. These prints are glimpses of the worlds Miss Bliss has stepped into sold on their own, for anyone who just wants somewhere to look for a while.
